Comparing myself in my relationship
I am having an issue that seems so stupid but is honestly entirely exhausting me. I am in an AMAZING relationship with the person I know I am going to marry. But I am having a hard time comparing myself to other girls and thinking he is constantly looking at those that are prettier than me. Clearly I have some self confidence issues I need to work on. A few months back I caught him looking at girls online like *** and OF girls and I’ve seen him aggressively check out other girls in front of me before. However, since then, he’s completely changed for the better. We are much more connected now and he constantly tells me I’m beautiful and gives me reassurance, nothing is ever on his phone. But when we are in public I am constantly on edge about this. I always look where he is looking and seeing if he notices someone in the room I deem to be prettier. If I see him even look I get so angry and upset. My whole mood is ruined and I feel sick to my stomach. I constantly analyze wherever we go together for attractive girls and see if he looks at them. It’s so unhealthy and I can’t seem to stop. I don’t even want to go out anymore because I will ruin our good time. He is very aware of this issue and does all he can to help. I just don’t know why I have this obsession and worry. I don’t know if it stems from what he did before or what. I just need an opinion on this and I knows it’s ridiculous but someone help me out before I exhaust him from all of it too. It’s just so hard to believe the “you’re the most beautiful girl in the world” when he’s had the urge to admire other girls.
I've been there and its not the most joyful feeling for sure. I got a mommy makeover and now I have more insecurities about my clothing and looks than I did before. Just keep it positive when u are around him.
I get this! I started feeling a loss for mine after I found out he was subscribing to only fans. I would have cared if he told me 😭 I have self confidence issues too because of it. I also brought up the issue the first time and we really have been much better since then. Until someone guides me a different way, I just try to keep communicating with them until something happens, good or bad. Falling in love with someone is not for the weak, because then you feel like they have you on a hook.
And then it's constantly worry about keeping them. But honestly that's what I love about it. That kind of love makes you go through so much together. And that, is commitment.
(I'm not a professional so please take what I say however you want, I just talk to maybe help someone one day 😅)
