Complicated
I wanna start this off with, I’m aware I’m a terrible person. This is my situation. I am currently in a 3 year relationship with my boyfriend. In these 3 years he has cheated on me twice. The second time I decided to have an emotional support person that I fell in love with. I’m going to call him Person B. Person B helps me with my college homework and plays various of games with me. At one point I was going to break up with my boyfriend for him. But I realize I was just going under stress and person B helped me through it. After I decide not to break up with my boyfriend or drop person B. I kept both because they both help me in different ways. I became more colder to person b and he still stayed. This year I went to go see my best friend of 10 years. It was all platonic. Me and him dated back in middle school but remain friends after. When I visited him there was sexual tension. Nothing happened and I told him,”if u hadn’t moved I wouldn’t mind dating.” I also told him I didn’t want to ruin this friendship. I want him in my life but I don’t think I’m capable to do long distance. Right now after I came back, I grew sadder and depressed. I realize I have feelings for my bff. I didn’t want to tell him because I feel like it would be awkward. I forgot to mention he is also going through a breakup and still talks to his ex in hopes of possibly fixing things. I just feel like a *** person if I were to tell him I have feelings for him.

I am sorry you have to go through this, buddy. Please know that everything is not your fault and you are not a horrible person. *big tight hugs*(if ok)
Hope things turn out soon. And remember that you have us behind you no matter what happens.
You think this is complicated my situation is even worse. In this double life triangle - 17 years of marriage, 4 years of a boyfriend, 2 children and now looks like I'm loosing both. Im suffering ... No friends, no family support. I've hit rock bottom crying daily scared to do anything. In limbo and just wish I was no here feeling this pain anymore. Walking around like a zombie detached from everything, an empty shell. My poor children seeing me sad daily. I'm.so scard , I'm.so scard. Sometimes I wish I could turn back time ...

you are not alone....when a relationship even temporarily is not filling our need to connect ... emotionally / intellectually and sometimes physically etc .
So many have found a friend "B" ..... we do not want to give that up.......we like who we are ...when hanging out even online with that person. maybe our current person does not see us anymore and see change and new interest they may think "yeah i know them 100% nothing new here."
We may fall in love or limerence ( look this up if you are not familiar, very eye opening ) and think "what if ".... for various reasons the what if may not happen ..........we can feel sad and lonely and IF we have someone else we could think "what if " and imagine a stronger connection or love with them also ....to fill the sad void.
I think in my case I am starting to accept the current partner is over....holding on because we once had something special or it has been X amount of years.... is not a reason to try to hold on. If you or the person you are with are no longer connected and on the same page or wanting same things.
we want the thrill and feelings we have in new love / romance and unless your partner wants to try to recreate we look elsewhere.
