Confused and conflicted

I've been seeing this man about 10 months. He's given me some ambiguous language. He's said he loves me. But then will say, I love you as a person. He says he doesn't feel he's crazy about me but has crazy feelings. Says he's not in love with me. Doesn't feel the same way I do. But wants us. Is trying. Is broken and scared. And I feel scared and confused a lot. He recently asked me to move in. But I feel like I still don't know where he stands. Moving in is a big deal. For both of us. We both stepped away from people we were living with. It's been hard. But I didn't need to pick apart my feelings. I knew I was pretty crazy about him. I knew I wanted to see where things could go. I care about him. I love him. But I just don't know how to approach him about things. I don't want to keep bringing things up and push him away. But I also don't want to hear I love you from someone if they're not in love with me. And playing pretend? What is even happening? Are you just with me because you're lonely?

@LazyDaisy3689

You need to ask these questions.

Healthy relationships , allow you the space to ask questions, without worry.

You cannot move in with someone if you  have doubts.

You deserve the same energy back.

Don't settle.

If he cannot have a mature conversation, then there will be your answer 💙

           I am sorry you are going thru this.  it is hard to navigate our own feelings in a situation like this. I feel he is not sure what he feels or wants.  Many people move in or stay together thinking if they keep up the pretense the feelings will happen. it is not enough IMO if someone loves you like a friend but is not in love with you ... everyone should experience in love with someone.
