Dad lied about telling me to post the toast down and then he claimed he didn't

So  it's Thursday,   the normal day for Mom to go to Choir practice.   I was going to make eggs and toast for supper.  I haven't made it in over a year on the stove.   So I needed Dad's help.   When I got it all already, beside the egg I asked Dad for help.    But then when I asked Dad to tell me to when to put the toast down- he literally told me to "pop the toast"  right then .  But when i pointed out that the toast would be cold, by the time the omelet was done  he didn't want to listen.   

But when the toast did pop 5-10 seconds later he  claimed "he didn't tell me to do it."  or "I took it on myself to do that".      But he HAD told me to do that.   So doesn't that make him a liar?

Then the 2nd problem is that Dad can't seem to use his brain to understand why I'm cooking the Omelet on the stove.  If I wanted to cook it in the microwave I would have.   But I cook too much stuff in the microwave, I'm trying to easy off on using small appliances to do the cooking.   Since he wanted to 'finish the omelet in the microwave" when I had put my bread to make garlic toast in it.
