First time mom
I honestly don’t feel like a priority in my relationship I’m a first time mom my sons a little over a year and I feel like I’ve been having to do it all alone it’s a fight to try to get him to watch his son so I can have me time, time to distress, time by myself ect. It’s getting to the point where I’m getting frustrated with my son, overwhelmed, burnt out. And it makes me feel so guilty.

I think every first time mom feels this way .... you cannot wait for your partner / child's dad to step up simply put child in his lap and tell him 1-2 hours for you to do whatever you need a walk a long hot bath ... etc..... it is almost best if you can leave the house etc..
because they will come in bathroom and say" i do not know how ___insert situation____" .... or the ever popular "you are sooooo much better at this " do not let guilt or them making a mess of putting diaper on backwards or whatever get you to jump in......
if you do not take the time it will not be given this applies as the child ages up as well.... everyone deserves a break and in a perfect world a dad would step up and do it for you....but many times taht does not happen ... even friends and other family support often say they would love to help but somehow are always busy.
