Has anyone ever gotten back with an ex and it worked out??
My ex girlfriend of about 3 years had cheated on me. We have since reconnected. We were no contact for a month. And slowly kinda leaning towards trying again. It’s the tricky part. We are now long distance. I know the odds are stacked up against us. Just trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel

You need to know why she cheated - was there something inadequate in the relationship that she needed to escape from- did she genuienly started liking someone else more - is she a cheater as a character trait ........ you need to know what happened.
You also need to ask yourself what's harder to bear -- the pain of missing her or the pain of a second time breakup.... if u think this is something so deeply attractive that you can risk your heart again then I guess you know.

The number of single people out there looking for a great relationship is vast. Is there a need to try to go back to someone who disrespected themselves, violated their integrity, and were dishonest?
While people can learn and change, did she really? Or would it resurface - and if it did, how would you respond to that?
Perhaps sometimes an ex is an ex for good reason.
