Hi I'm Ankita
"I've been talking to a guy for around 4 months. He's really nice, and our conversations are great, which is why I've had a crush on him from the start. However, he's told me that he's literally scared of commitment. Initially, I gave him time, but now I feel like I can't do this anymore. He doesn't want to emotionally invest or learn about me, my past, or anything meaningful. It feels like he only talks to me when he's feeling a certain way, and he asks for my photos. On the positive side, he's mature, sensible, and understanding. But that's not what I want. I want someone who would prioritize me, care about my emotional well-being, and show interest in my life. Last time, he didn't talk to me for 10 days, and then suddenly started talking normally again. During those 10 days, I cried for 7 days. Even now, when he's gone, he doesn't think about me or ask how I'm doing. Still, I keep talking to him with hope that he'll understand my feelings. But now, I'm breaking down, and I don't know what's right or wrong or what I should do.

Can I be entirely honest with you Ankita? 🥺 I’ve been in your shoes and I know how much this hurts!Â
It’s ok to feel scared of commitment etc at the start because people can have different kinds of experiences and maybe he has his. Btw did you ask him why? what makes him feel scared etc?Â
But tbh nobody who actually cares about someone would let them go or hurt them so much with something so silly… commitment isn’t a issue… intention is… does this person even have the intent to actually be in a committed relationship with you? maybe you can start a conversation from here… telling him what you think about him and your hope for a committed relationship etc and also asking him where does he actually stand in it and if he even wants this to be a long term thing?Â
Voice your opinions and don’t hesitate to be completely honest about how you feel and how hurt he has made you feel in these days when he ghosted you and acted so chill later!Â
His way of response and his response should be your closure… if you prioritise yourself your self respect your needs and values and know that how you’ve been treated isn’t fair then you’ll know how to move forward with the situation!Â
Some people because of unclarity and lack of proper communication end up in situation ships and it’s messy in there… not knowing how to get out of it… because you don’t even know how honest the other person and their bond is with you and if anything was even genuine or reciprocated or if it was only one sided.Â
This is a really difficult decision, especially when you have strong feelings for him. But remember, you deserve a relationship where your emotional needs are met, and where you feel valued and prioritized, not left crying for days on end. Seriously!!Â
If you have a lot of difficulty deciding what’s right for you… maybe try thinking what you would tell a friend who was going through the same?Â
here for you if you want to talk more about how you’ve been holding up with everything 💕💕 your not alone ok🥺
Thank you so much I wanna talk more

He told you up front that he was not in this for commitment and sounds like it is clear by his actions that is what he is sticking with. I get it you have developed feelings but going along just hoping he changes... is setting yourself up to be hurt and disappointed over and over.  Â
you were hurt when he quit talking with you....... if you really want to see how he reacts ... just be busy and unable to talk to him.......... if he puts in effort to connect and keep this going or does he disappear. You will have your answer.. if may be hard but this will be on your terms not his.Â
