Distractions can help as well as dating other people even if you don't want to. Maybe by doing this you might get involved with someone else. Pour your time and energy into work. Focus on family. Whatever gets your mind off this amazing person who is just not interested in you anymore. 🌟
I've tried all that an it hasn't worked at all an like idk
For those that have been dating for years, this can be difficult. Especially in adult lives where you don't have large support networks and you have to count on each other and support each other through things you don't really know much else. Other than life with them. I'm in a similar situation and just had a breakup. Well a month ago or a little longer. There was a breakup text sent. And I took time off to work on myself and make myself better for the relationship that was ending. Now I'm kind of in limbo. I'm stuck in the same day over and over and over. And yeah there is no easy distraction. And when you love someone for years and they love you back. Stopping that on a dime is impossible. He might take months or a year or longer. Everyday without them hurts like ***. Some days are better than others. Some days I'll go to bed right after work just because I don't want to face the world. I don't want to pretend like that day didn't exist. And in many ways it doesn't to me. My world stopped that day. And now it's just a carousel of activities waiting for what comes next. And I've had relationships that ended before. And they were tough. But this one was one that that I don't know if I'm going to get over. I truly and move on from. At least not in the foreseeable future. So all I can say is keep living the day. I don't know when the pain will stop. I don't know if there's an answer to how to get past things. It's different for everyone every situation. How much you loved how long you loved, how much they loved you. Unfortunately for me I was the cause of my own destruction in the relationship. Hopefully yours wasn't. But we just have to live this day and move to the next. And sometimes that has to be enough
When I've had crushes that I knew couldn't go anywhere, I would confess my feelings even though I knew they wouldn't be reciprocated. Being rejected was enough for me to start to move on. It felt like a breath of fresh air.
