I’m in desperation mode.
My partners have both decided to call for a break. Not a break up, but putting some distance between us. The issue is, from what I’ve been told, that I have an avoidant personality, problems communicating, I’m overly insecure, and I have anger issues.
I’m not exactly sure where to start on working on that stuff. Any tips or advice will help. I just do not want to lose them…

Hey there! I'm so sorry you're going through this situation right now. I can direct you to our self-help guides here: https://www.7cups.com/self-help/ Please read any that are of interest - I'll just point out "Breakup Advice", "Acceptance and Commitment Therapy", and "Managing Emotions" as places to start.
Attachment theory is a complicated thing that might be something you want to explore with a trained therapist. You can find trained therapists at this link here: https://www.7cups.com/local/therapists/
If that's not accesible to you for whatever reason, you can always find a Listener here that specializes in relationships. https://www.7cups.com/BrowseListeners/ - and then you can search by topic. They can help you talk through things.
I hope this helps! 💞

communication is something i feel in relationships needs to be worked on as a team.... working alone is like learning to dance a tango on your own.
Being insecure and possible anger issues you can look inside and look for signs. i was in those shoes gained confidence that being insecure and needing constant reinforcement is annoying to many. i was angry about things but not the items my partner thought it was about.
I was told as a child we have an angry button and we are the only one that pushes it. Example when a partner does something or says something ... i can chose to listen and take it in or ask why they dis this or that...... OR i can chose to jump to............... they are wrong and this is why ... they always do this .. they are not respecting me etc.... see i pushed the button. Once pushed we can not go back to take the other path so take a deep breath when in discussion or some thing happens wait to push a button.
