I need some help

Ok so basically I have this friend named Alex and we have been friends for about a year now but we got our schedules changed and now we have 2 classes and lunch together. We are also in the same club and sport. I really like our friendship right where it is but recently he said that someone likes me but they arnt sure if they know if they actually do like me. I thought they were talking about our friend Cash. He is also in the same sport as us. He also does robotics with me and one of my best friends is a family friend of his. I maybe sorta like him. But I think Alex likes me and I’m not quite sure how to reject him kindly so we can still have our friendship and things not be awkward. I’m sorry if this is kinda long I just don’t know who to tell it too.
