Is acceptance the answer?
So, just... as a complete hypothetical and mostly just for perspective.
I wont get into the details deeply but with my wifes online affair. The Real risk of everything being on the line. My own mentaland physical health. The risk of fracturing the relationship with my 9 year old son. Many other material and financial factors at play as well, and many other unknown variables that may com into play if I/we decide to bid farewell to the 10 years of building and refining our lives together. Is acceptance the most viable solution, letting this truly play out? Then picking up the pieces of our broken relationship afterwards? Would that even make any sense? Knowing that even if it was embraced and allowed, that it may all be for nothing in the end? Please, if you can. Offer me som perspective on this. These thoughts are in my head and i dont know what to do with them.
@Ryan575
There is risk in anything you do... with your own mental heath and physical health as mental things take a real toll... prioritize you and your son ... prepare for co-parenting or whatever the situation may be.
finances are a big issue that can make things go badly... get the whole picture before agreeing to anything.. I still think since it is online and so far away this person may flake on her...
if it falls apart she would need to WIN you back.... you are worth more then being treated as she has... if things go another way when you realize your worth i am sure you can find someone who will treasure you.
I wish i could add you as a friend or DM somehow. You are wise and an awesome person. Thank you for helping me take this on. I have not felt alone. 😊
@Ryan575
Thank you, i am happy any of my responses gave you any help.
Thank you, for your responses. You're a good person. Im doing a bit better now (The struggle is still real). This situation needs resolving but i do think that sitting it out, focusing more on myself/my son, and letting this all "play out". Im done investing so much of myself into something that has lost so much. Its swimming upstream at this point and i see that now. I appreciate your kindness and offering your perspectives about these things. With at little interaction you and I have shared, you have offered magnitudes of positive thoughts, help with perspective, and have been relatively constant through this with me. Thank you again. I offer you the same in return if you so need it from me.

Is acceptance the answer?
@Ryan575 I'd say so.. what is got to lose I'd ask myself? Only can gain really.. truth an the reality of whats next or new found love souls sparks.. rise an rise again until the lamb becomes the lion <3
Thank you, thats pretty much where im at. One of my difficulties lay with, is there a point in which it turns into a situation in which...though i am doing it for all the right reasons and have the best intent behind it. Instead of me being a steadfast husband seeking to see it out until the very end. I instead just end up going headfirst into a situation in which i assume a full on "cuck" husband that just tolerates and accepts the relationship abuse and become lesser of a man internally because im so broken that im willing to accept any action from her similar to a Stockholm situation in which the victim begins to love the torturer even though theybare the source of the victims pain....i dont know. I don think thats possible with me myself i guess, i feel like im a stronger man than to let that happen but im sure stranger things have happend in this world. I just want things to work out properly, if thats possible in this improper, irregular situation.
