I thought I had moved on, but lately my first crush keeps coming back to my mind
It’s been three months since I found out that the girl I’ve been in love with for eight years, but never confessed to, is in a serious relationship with someone else.
While it was devastating, I somehow managed to make my peace with it and tried to move on. It hasn’t been easy, but I still managed to do it.
But right now, I’m missing her so much. She keeps coming back to my mind, and I can’t help but feel desperate to have her.
Maybe it’s because of the loneliness. After a year of unemployment, I finally got my first job at a decent company with a decent salary, but I had to relocate. I’m in a place where I don’t speak the local language, I don’t know anyone, and I can’t easily connect with my colleagues.
I cut off the rest of my friends because I was too depressed after the revelation. And now, I don’t have a chance to reconnect, everyone is busy with their own lives

I think we have past what if's pop up into our mind when we are lonely or not content in our current situation. Have you tried to reconnect ..
i think we assume everyone is busy and they may feel the same about us but many times both sides are wishing we had a friend to talk or hang out with. i recently told a neighbor that happens so she felt like calling me and we walk or do lunch etc missed lots of time assuming each other was always busy.
I've been trying to reach out to them these last few days, but I am only getting dry replies from them. I know them, they won't be replying like this if they weren't busy.
It's just. I miss her so much. I am trying my best to not look her up on social media. I haven't even looked at her profile for the past month.
