Last night Mom and I had a fight over me going to the bank today.
So I get a lot of cheques from the governments. It feels like i'm going to the bank like every week. Last night I was exhausted from doing a Disney Trivia night at a resturant last night and Mom and I got home at about 10pm- we had to make a stop at the grocery store. Mom wanted me to put the cheque in my fanny pack "incase I felt like going to the bank". But after just being there last week and the week before- I didn't feel like I would have the spoons to go to the bank today. Mom still said I should but having the cheque in the fanny pack would feel like I would have to do it. As oppose to leaving it at home.
@Disneywoman I see... Well, she shouldn't be upset if you don't go to the bank, all things considered. You don't need to go just because she hints at it. And if she is going to word it as "if you feel like it" then she better not get mad when you don't feel like it. I'm not trying to sound rude, but she should have asked directly if she wanted you to do it that badly. Am I right about this? I think you deserve the basic respect of being asked a favor instead of pressuring you to feel obligated.
For what it's worth, I know people who like to just hint at things. I also know I have sometimes hinted. For me, I can admit that it isn't polite to do that even though I catch myself doing it too sometimes. But even still, I think it would make a lot of sense if someone got upset at me because I expected them to just do things without being asked.
I hope it didn't sound confusing at any point. I am dehydrated. 😅
@BusyBird I mean I had just been the previous 2 weeks to drop cheques off. I barley had the engery this morning to go to work and do the work. And come home not to do any other spoons. But I should have stopped at the store and buy Father's Day gifts
@Disneywoman At least father's day isn't for another week and a half. 🙂 So there is time.
@BusyBird I guess I just assumed it was the Sunday before my birthday this year it was after my birthday.
