My relationship.
My partner and I have been together for almost a year and a half, I've made a lot of mistakes in that time, one of which includes cheating on them and I haven't done it since and they found out immediately and not a day goes by that I don't feel guilt and shame for what I did, I've also called them a *** even though they never cheated on me and I'm the only one who cheated. I've also struggled with accountability during all of this. I'm trying to change because they're still with me despite not having any reason besides love for staying, I want and need to change the *** parts of myself for me and them.

In order to have lasting change IMO is for you to understand why you do things.. people say things like IDK but deep down i think most know they just do not want to accept it.
calling names or being mean are lashing out ... Getting a hold of your emotions and if this is a person you want to be with share the good and bad of your thought and feelings.
I did the things I did and said because I wanted to hurt someone how I was hurt, it's nowhere near okay but that's the reason and I am a terrible person for it and that's part of why I want to change, it's why I downloaded this app and it's why I got a journal.

That IMO does not make you a terrible person just a human ... many when they are hurting do things they regret. In the end you will be hurt more by your actions. I hope your journal helps. I found feedback more effective for me.
