My sleep is more important than Valentine's Day

what happens if your fiancé doesn't give you anything for Valentine's Day? He work at 3rd shift when he came home he said I'll buy the Valentine's Day gift before I go to work, my sleep is more important and I don't feel like going outside. Is this how relationship goes?

I wouldn't think he's prioritising sleep, third shift sounds hectic, hopefully later in he'll surprise you when he wakes up and turn your day around 🩷💚💛💙🧡🧡🩵💜

I hope he finds time before or after work and something nice for you.

I always found an assigned holiday as just pressure and did not make much difference.

I worked retail for years and people bought literally whatever was available to check a box on Valentine's Day. I would much rather they show me how they feel on their own for no particular reason.

Yes, he got up I'm surprised lol he gave me balloons, with teddy bear, cards, and hazelnut chocolate. I love hazelnut favor. He told me I haven't forgot lol I said its thought that counts. I feel like Valentine's Day is for giving the love and appreciation of your loved ones.
