Recently became a single mom
And boy, I'm struggling. Asking my ex to move out was hard, but after 3 yrs together and 1 child (2 yr ) I've come to the conclusion that, he just doesn't love me. He was just with me because of our kid "doing the right thing" but he was just a lazy mama's boy that wanted me to do everything while he just sat there drinking his beer. 🙄
I had to cook, clean, get groceries, laundry, take care of our child, work full-time and he barely touched me. He was just....there.
I kept hoping that he would change. Come around, and help me without being asked to. Take me out on a date here and there....or like hug me without asking him to.
I did love the man. But I had to let him go because I just didn't feel loved or wanted by him.
And after 4 months of being out of my house, he told me he was going to start dating again.
I'm struggling because.... I'm going to be a single mom while he gets to live his life being a part time father. I love my child but I can't help but to feel angry that he was just with he wasting my time for the last 3 years. He never wanted a family or me. I can't even think about dating anyone. My focus is my kid. And his is dating?
I feel so bitter.

wow! sounds infuriating and exhausting.
But— what I can tell from reading this is
❤️ you love yourself to know that you don’t deserve to be treated the way he treated you. You set boundaries for yourself and your son! Kudos to you mama!!!
❤️ You are a great mother!!! I hear so much love for that boy in this post!!!
You’re right, You don’t have the time to think of dating right now. You’re giving yourself the love, space and respect you deserve. Now, you can run the house like how you want for yourself and your son. No expectations. I think you’ll be able to breathe lighter!!!
And of course he’s looking for another partner- because who’s going to take care of him!
You will get used to your son going back and forth for the visits. And you will finds the time for all your self care in those moments. Maybe you and your son will be able to do more things together now that you aren’t taking care of a grown child 💕💕
Thank you for your kind words! ð©·
