When Missed opportunity comes back to Haunt you

I met this guy and everything about was pulling me towards him. suddenly I couldn't talk but for some reason we just never had that moment. I started seeing a frustration from him and I told myself that I would master up the courage to maybe initiate something. I guess he could use to all the girls going up to him but I always prefer the traditional way of the guy pursuing the girl but it just never happened. unbeknownst to me he admit someone else and he would later bring her to the friend group. on the day he brought her there was a narrow arrogance like look at me I have found someone. I had never seen that side to him, it just broke my heart. it wasn't so much that it brought somebody else He's the way he's stood there looking at me almost like looking to see any semblance of sadness this whole situation cause me. I really thought he was the one but I guess not. so I just fell too not react if he did eat again and before long I just stopped looking at him. I noticed that even though he had brought her to the friend group he wouldn't necessarily stand next to her but kept a distance. in some cases he would try to come closer to where I was but I just ignored it, pretended I didn't even see him looking at me. now that arrogance I saw at first has vanished and instead of being in this blissfully happy beginnings of a relationship he just seems sad. now I just catch him looking at me no matter where I stand, he look for me in any setting just to look at me from a distance. anytime we are in the same room the same vicinity and I'm near them he practically does everything he can to create some distance, no PDA of any kind. For someone who's only being married for 2 months, he looks downcast. Even when his wife tries to initiate some PDA he ignores it like put his hands in his pocket shift away from her in his seat. *** axanoid with me he now acts annoyed with me when I say hi. Even when I congratulated him on his wedding he perfectly asked what I was congratulating him for and when I said he's marriage he I enthusiastically said oh thank you in an annoyed way. does he blame me for his current situation?

What you felt was real, even if nothing ever happened. It’s okay that it still hurts a little.

You handled everything with grace and protected your heart ❤️ —and that truly matters.

Sometimes we see the potential in someone, but not who they really are.
