Feeling blank
I moved in with my partner of 7 months due to my old flatmate leaving and my current partner couch surfing
However, i feel as tho i have built a wall between us, sometimes i look at him and feel nothing
However i have also been thinking about a past fling i had before i got with said partner all because i wished the dude a happy birthday
For context this dude was essentially a hook up with some great and loving moments however at the time he was not emotionally able to "invest in a relationship" however we have been chatting as freinds and suddenly a bunch of feelings have came flooding back as hes told me hes going to therapy and getting over his apathy and his feelings of unavailability.
I am so lost and confused because i feel guilty for looking my partner and feeling small doses of love bit never as full, some friends have said space could help but i am so exhausted because of my worry
@zedbee1 Hey, I completely get how you feel, sometimes not having enough love for our significant others. Although space apart might help, I'd suggest simply being there for your partner and hopefully reconnecting with him; sometimes it takes a little bit of time to start to reciprocate our love. However, if you feel that your relationship just isn't working out, I'd suggest confronting your partner about it and figuring out what's changed. I will pray for you and your partner. Please don't feel the need to follow my advice, but we will always be here for you!
hey there! Sometimes I feel the same way too!
I would suggest you to have some space and evaluate our relationship with him.. try to think of all the good things about your partner and And what could be the reason why you are feeling the way you feel
there has been a situation in my life where I backed out and broke up with my partner however thespace made me realise his worth
sending love and prayers
