Hi I've been with my partner for 12 years, 5 days before Christmas he tells me he doesn't love me anymore this is after we have just brought a house together. We are both going to counselling and he says he wants the relationship to work out if we can, I've just looked at his phone and there are quite a few messages between him and his ex wife on there just, they are just like everyday messages. What does this mean???

I can understand how it feels when the person u love says they dont after all these years.. since you both are attending a counseling session and he also wants it to work, you can just talk to him about his ex wife. Ask what he really wants.
