How is your relationship with your parents?
Hi everyone! When we think of relationships, we often associate the word with romantic relationships but its much more than that. Relationships include the ones we have with our loved ones.
How is your relationship with your parents?

How is your relationship with your parents?
My relationship with my mother is very good, we are like best friends! We spend time together and I feel comfortable discussing personal issues with her. My relationship with my father is more distant, but it is not as bad as it was when I was younger :)
It's trash.
Well, they're both together in the family grave by now. My siblings and I were much more comfortable with our father, while our dear mother was so manipulative and quick to anger.

How well do you express your thoughts with ease and calm! I really look up to you. ❤️
How nice of you to write. I enjoy coming up with honest and unexpected answers to those forum questions.
@Fradiga
And you leave me in awe of your personality everytime!
@Hope,
I have a very honest and open relationship with my parents where I have felt their constant support throughout my life :)

My relationship with my mother was good although I don't think she ever learned to trust me. My relationship with my father was business only.
i have a close relationship and friendship with my mom now that I’m older but I still feel unresolved hurt that she stayed with my dad for as long as she did. Staying in a toxic and abusive marriage is one thing, but doing it with kids is just…it causes lifelong damage.
I’ve forgiven my father but I don’t think I can have him in my life again. Maybe one day if he really changed. But I don’t think that’s likely.
Thank you for asking this. I think it was helpful to write this.
This is similar to mine. But I still Iive w parents now so I'm really feeling suffocated
Good and supportive. I just struggle with my mom sometimes, she has a lottt of attitude haha.

my relationship with my parents seems okay. we didn't talk a lot and we rarely seek physical touch. but i'm the one who is making initiative to express my love through acts of service, giving gifts during their birthdays and also give them short affirmations. i always asks them if they are okay or do they need anything. but still what i need from them is a hug or cuddle. and also i am shy to say "i love you" to them because we are not used to it. but i hope i can try to say it. because i miss the days that they are sweetee when my siblings and i were still kids. 🥹

My relationship with my parents is bad like to the point where I really want to cut them off completely from my life. I'm really tired of listening to them complain and never listen to me. I wish my dad was nice, understanding, not so stuck up with his bible, and easy to talk to. I wish my mom was kind, easy to be open with, not judgmental, and be supportive. It really sucks when I see adults having a better relationship with their parents. It makes me envy them a lot because I don't know why my parents can't be like that. All they talk about is money, school, jobs, the future, or my relationships. Even saying I love you to them is impossible cause I don't, I barely even like them or even tolerate them anymore. I could go on and on about it, but I'll just leave it at that.
