I can’t get him out of my head
I’m sorry to come to this again..
im just very frustrated. If no one has seen I have very intense feeling for a guy I work with and have done since the moment I met him.
we are very good friends and go through phases of talking outside of work all the time and then just occasionally
he has been opening up to me more and more recently about his troubles at home and in his current relationship..to the point where he has admitted that they’ve drifted apart and it’s no longer the same..but feels like they can’t end it because he’s scared of hurting her
he asked for my opinion and I have been the best friend I can and have given him my honest opinion. However..one if his friends has recently spoken to me regarding another woman he could be interested in pursuing. When I asked him about this he said he wasn’t personally interested in pursuing this woman.
with all this in mind, he is obviously in no reasonable state for a relationship and I’m aware of that. We have to be friends because of work and I completely respect that. But my god I’m so in love with him it hurts..and I’m so frustrated with myself bc no amount of self help, exercise or distractions are helping. I’ve tried so hard to move on but nothing is working. it just feels so all consuming..I’m hoping someone out there can understand

Hello!
This does sound like it can be very frustrating and especially talking about his relationship when you have feelings for him.
It sounds like you feel all these emotions pent up and can't find a way to release it.
Have you thought about telling him? Even if work makes it impossible for you to be together, perhaps it may help to let it out at least! 💛💫
I can definitely agree and say it is very frustrating. It isn’t easy to manage, I’m usually quite open about issues but I feel like a lot of my friends who I speak to aren’t quite understanding the gravity of the situation and how it’s making me feel. Usually with having feelings for someone I’m quite laid back so this is all relatively new for me and I’m unsure of how to handle it.
I have thought about that, yes. However, I don’t want to put him in an uncomfortable position at work, especially as he uses work as a form of escape, that would be unfair for me to do just so I can feel better. I’ll be okay as long as I can find a way to navigate these feelings. I’m just finding it very difficult at the moment to do so. Thanks for your advice I really appreciate it:)

I have real problems with rumination and this animated video was really helpful. A philosopher defines elegance as communication the complex with concise clarity.
The author is sure to present several different techniques, all of which require only imagination.
Rumination : Combating repetitive thoughts.
