Relationship Issues and Anger

I can’t be the only one that had a family growing up that would yell but not realize they’re yelling until they’re fighting. As I’ve gotten older i was able to meet someone that I love more then anything but in small arguments I end up getting louder and it turns into me yelling which makes everything tons worse. This is my first time trying to find help with the issues that I have the thing that it took long enough for her to say she’s leaving me. Does anyone have any of these?

@DOGmat

Anger is valid emotion we do tend to yell when it's too much but I know it is difficult to be around an angry persson, the other one doesn't feel very safe emotionally and it is hard to make any good conversation

It seems you care for your partner and this is really a good sign maybe a motivation also to work on your anger and to not lash out at her for no reason

What do you usually do to let your anger out ?

Do you have any coping mechanisms for managing anger?

I just started with this path to changing and controlling certain emotions more healthy.

I’ve been reading a lot more to understand different techniques, things that I was able to starting doing is getting things out of my life that would make me sort of burry the anger/stress and trying to do things that used to make me happy skateboarding, drawing, writing etc.

im open to anything because the realization of this feeling has changed my whole perspective on my life and the ones I love lives also.
