Valentines 💔

How do you leave? How do you know when it’s over ? My relationship feels so sad most days. I want to cry, most times I do cry. I cry that I want the relationship to be over, but he insists it’ll get better.

sometimes I think it’s me. He does nothing wrong, but what does he do right ?

are we all actually lonely ?

my life has become a parody I laugh at when I sit back, it’s comical I out myself here. That I’m here rather. I’d hate to see him but eventually it becomes more painful to love them then to hate them. 💔

happy valentines

@determinated I'm sorry to hear you're facing difficulties in your relationship, it should feel safe and healthy for you and your partner but if it doesn't something needs to be worked upon

You do deserve feeling emotionally safe and supported in the relationship 💕 have you discussed your feelings with them?

Yes, they say things will change and we are still learning but how can you stay when you are simply not happy.

@determinado I feel every word you say as if they were my own, sometimes relationships are complex, and you should be sure about your relationship with your partner.Have you tried to share your feelings with him? 🌸

Do you want to talk in-depth about this feeling? ❤️

I'm sorry that you're feeling sad and lonely most of the time in your relationship. No, it is not meant to be this way. All relationships will have a mix of good and not so good aspects, which is natural as two individuals figure out how to build a future together. It is definitely possible with effort to make things better. Keyword there is - effort. How does he think it's going to change? Is there a plan or are you both discussing/working towards it? It doesn't change just with time. Active discussions, listening to each other, understanding what could be better, and figuring out together how to go about it - are what can make it better day by day. The commitment and investment from both partners is essential.

leaving is hard sometimes you take a leap of faith to go on and then there is all the messy where to live splitting up assets etc..

if there is NO action behind empty words of things will change ..... leave. talk is just prolonging the inevitable...... they do not have to do something bad ....if there is nothing there..... life should not be lonely sitting in a room with someone you are suppose to be in love with.....

we became room mates still not helping as if we were looking for somebody to be roommates i still would NOT choose them.

It’s over when you decide it’s over. Don’t be a spectator in your own relationship. If you want something more, then stop settling for less. If your partner promises things will get better but takes no initiative to improve anything, then the relationship is just going to continue to stagnate.

You have options, but you yourself need to love courageously and take responsibility for your own heart’s desires. If you surrender that control to others, and just wait for the “wrong person” to somehow become the “right person”, then of course you will always be disappointed with the outcome.
