lol self explanatory title.. thought this would be a fun thing to post and de-stigmatise periods.. there is a stigma surrounding the in many places so yeah... don't feel obliged to po st if you aren't comfortable with sharing :)
I was 11, and my body was maturing a bit faster than the rest of the girls in my grade. One day I went into the bathroom stall at school and saw the telltale signs that I was beginning to have my period. I quickly wadded up some toilet paper and put it in my underwear, as I didnt have pads with me, and wrapped a hoodie I had on around my waist. I changed my pants and undies as soon as I got home.

For me, I was 12 and my friend was over I was confused as to why my pants were brown on the inside. She told me, and I cried cause I thought my childhood was over forever. We told my mum and she didn't seem to care much 😂

I started my period at the age of 9 in my neighbors front yard while all the neighborhood boys were playing basketball. It was embarrassing.
