Addicted to Porn
My boyfriend got caught messaging girls, waaaaaay too many times. Well recently, he's claiming he's addicted to porn which is why he can't stop cheating, watching porn etc. Then, whenever he gets caught he lies and makes it seem like nothings going on when in reality he also looks up adult entertainment on Instagram and unblocked his brothers ex girlfriend, who blatantly acts like a slut. Was looking them up on social media along with my friends and then I found him on craigslist looking up swingers. He claims he's never done anything physical, and that it's not what it seems but Idk if I should believe him. Am I blowing this all out of proportion? Is it time to leave? Should I be supportive of his addiction? But why should I support him, if it means he has availability to hurt me 24/7 cuz he's addicted to porn?

Hey there, hopefully you are doing well. There's a few things I would like to point out;
My boyfriend got caught messaging girls, waaaaaay too many times. (This is an indication he is being dishonest and disloyal to you. You are with someone who is basically emotionally cheating on you, and you are allowing it to happen by staying with him) Well recently, he's claiming he's addicted to porn which is why he can't stop cheating, watching porn etc. (He is true somehwat, but he is using the porn addiction to justify his cheating. He is taking zero responsability for his actions, and avoiding the truth. I give it a 0% chance he will change with this kind of behavior) Then, whenever he gets caught he lies and makes it seem like nothings going on (This is what he does when he gets caught. He ignores reality, shift blame and pushes things to the side. This will make your anxiety go really high, and it wont make you feel safe. He is not acting like an adult here) when in reality he also looks up adult entertainment on Instagram and unblocked his brothers ex girlfriend, who blatantly acts like a slut. (Its impossible to trust a person like this. He will always look at other woman, even might go far as sexually talking with them, and it will make you feel anxious because he is choosing them over what you two have) Was looking them up on social media along with my friends and then I found him on craigslist looking up swingers. (This is unacceptable behavior...it's a deal-breaker at this point. You two are on a relationship, and he is looking for swingers?. He is showing zero respect for you and the relationship) He claims he's never done anything physical, and that it's not what it seems but Idk if I should believe him. (He is shifting, avoid and pushing away blame by saying all of this. This behavior will make you question your own reality and gut feelings.) Am I blowing this all out of proportion? (No you are not. I can tell that from an young age they made you feel like your reality, feelings and gut feeling are wrong, so now you have a hard time believing whats going on. You have every right to feeling the way you do) Is it time to leave? (100000% yes) Should I be supportive of his addiction?(This comes from a place of "I don't want to be alone", "I want him to love me". You are ignoring reality and how you feel just so you wouldn't face a breakup. His addiction will always come first over everything, this will cause you a lot of pain, hurt and anxiety) But why should I support him, if it means he has availability to hurt me 24/7 cuz he's addicted to porn? (His behavior is unacceptable, you are fighting for someone that only cares about his addiction and basically cheated on you. You need a partner with whom you can trust, your boyfriend can't be trusted)
