My bf is very demanding, he works alot himself and expects that from me too. He doesn't say but I feel if he goes to workout and I watch some TV after cleaning up the whole house btw he thinks I'm lazy. I love him dearly and do my best to keep him happy.

Now last Monday I got an operation (I need 3w recovery and it was in my face) so everything hurts and I can only do one small thing a time before I need to lay down.

At first he was helping me sweet but not cleaning up after him at all so I still did cleaning up during the day even when I need to rest. But I love him so I still did that with a smile

Yesterday he just went silent on me for hours I kept asking what was wrong he kept rejecting me playing on his phone.

Not talking, not touching me,... after almost yelling at him he said it's just always his fault if he argues with me...

He said it bothered him I went to lay down instead of closing of the house and putting lights on. I just said I was sorry because I didn't want a fight but I still feel miserable of my operation. I'm under painkillers and he knows it... and I did the dishes and the laundry over the day which drained me...

He is a sweet guy and has way more good points then this but it just hurts that I try to do what I can and all I get is those reactions.

I feel like if it's not bad for him he doesn't care...

At those moments I don't know if I should stay with him?

Can anyone relate to this feeling?

@Confusedyoungadult1996 this does sound like unkind behavior - expecting a sick person to do chores is selfish, to say the least. Please take care of your health first. As for staying with him or not, I can't advice, since you are the best judge of the situation. You said he had some good points, so you think about that, but don't let him treat you like that. You deserve care and respect.
