Feelings for cousin... Yeah, it's tough to work on
Okay, so on most platforms I just get the "Sweet home Alabama" reaction. I hope here it will be different.
After spending a lot of time with my female cousin growing up, some feelings have started forming. Now that we are both grown up, I see her as very attractive. I am in a relationship, so that's all good. Over the course of the past year I started having sexual thoughts about her.
She still sits on my lap some times as we did when we were younger, and she hugs me quite long. This causes me to feel very happy with her, but weirded out since it's my cousin.
Of course I haven't talked to her about it, because that could be disastrous.
I have explained it to my current and past girlfriends and they seem to understand. For me it is just hard to work on.

Oops... I'm sorry about it. I'm not sure but it's not a good idea to express your sexual energy to your cousin.
Are you happy in your relationship? Do you find your girlfriend attractive?
Are you expressing your sexual energy or is it repressed? The energy plays a big role.
Try to give yourself a lot of sexual pleasure and then see what happens. If it still there, just visit a therapist, he/she will help you move on.

I think @optimisticBlackberry2807 should do what you are saying, it is important to think the most clear way possible, try to put your situation on other person, as if that person has your problem, how would you react if a friend of yours is having that issue?
Hope you can solve this and let you rest in peace :)
