I'm in a relationship with a girl but sometimes I like to masturbate to gay porn, I know I need to tell my gf but

1) not sure how

2) if you had had this issue would be good if you share your experience

@orangeboy1 Answer for no.1: I think that you should tell her honestly, maybe when you both feel comfortable and the aura is calm and peaceful. Tell her that you still love her even if you do mastubate. If you have a reason to masturbating to this, why not explain to her ? And you can also be Bi if you've ever acctualy liked a guy in in realy life.

I don't have an answer to no.2. Never been in a relationship.

I'm straight and female, but I've gotten off to gay porn (male and female). I have no desire to be with a woman, though. I feel nothing for them romantically or sexually. When it comes to porn, sometimes you'll just take whatever turns you on when you're needing a release and it doesn't translate to what you'd actually consider for yourself in reality. Or maybe you have sexual feelings that you haven't allowed yourself to look too closely at.

I would be honest and communicate with your partner, though. We all have the right to know what's going on with the person we're in a sexual relationship with. I wish you the best!

Totally agree! Friendly reminder that sexuality is a spectrum — you don’t need to limit yourself with gay or straight or any specific labels

I agree with Scully: sometimes the porn we watch has nothing to do with our orientation. If watching something turns you on, but you wouldn't like to take part in sexual activities with men and you're not attracted to them in real life, you are simply straight!

If, on the contrary, you are attracted to men as well as women, you are bisexual. You can fin this out by trying to analize your feelings and sensations about men and women, imaging yourself in sexual and romantic scenarios with different people of different genders and see how that makes you feel. If both men and women fantasies are good to you, it would seem that you're bisexual. Which doesn't have to affect your relationship: bi people can be in happy monogamous relationship too, it's just a myth that bisexuals always need to have both.

What you decide to tell your girlfriend is up to you: if none of this affects your relationship, it's ok to keep some things for yourself! The only case in which telling her becomes a necessity is if yiu believe any of this affects your relationship.

@Aayla this has made me more confused.  I was in a relationship and then married for a total of around 23 years but for about 20 of those years i use to buy gay porn and fantastise about men, then watched gay porn on the Internet, then I had my first gay experience. Then another. But I was still married but now confused.  About what I liked . I still am 30 years later. Im thinking of tell a few friends that im gay and see what happens.  Then try and move on to what's right for me and not what fits in for everyone else

@orangeboy1

I can understand why you feeling conflicted about this. I just want to reassure that fantasies and curiosities are totally normal. I know being honest can be so scary but it can also build trust. Have you thought about any ways you could approach this?

@orangeboy1 I completely understand why you might be feeling conflicted about this. It’s completely normal to have mixed emotions when you’re dealing with something personal or sensitive like this, especially when its about your relationship and yourself.I just want to reassure you that having certain fantasies or curiosities doesn’t make you strange or wrong,  it’s actually a normal part of being human.

Being open and honest about what’s going on inside can definitely feel scary, especially when you’re worried about how someone might react. But sometimes, being honest can really strengthen trust and deepen your connection. It shows courage and a willingness to be real, which can make communication so much healthier and more genuine, it will bring your relationship to the next level where she might be feeling comfortable to be sharing something like this too.
