Let it Go!
Breakups can often leave us with heavy, painful feelings, and with a desire to change in order to move forward after the end of the relationship. Moving forward involves identifying the painful emotions or thoughts and labeling what we prefer to feel or think. In this exercise, try to list 2-3 feelings or thoughts that you can change or let go of in your personal life, then try to list 2-3 feelings or thoughts that you would want to have instead.
Sample Response:
1. I want to let go of the hurt, resentment and sadness that I currently feel from my recent breakup
2. I want to experience peace, happiness and self-love.

@CheeryMangowant to experience peace, happiness and self-love.
@CheeryMango Thank you for sharing, I feel like it is a nice practice even when listening to someone going through a breakup, allowing them to share what is burdening them but also facing the light and thinking of what future could bring!
1) I want to rid myself of the anxiety and fear that seem to haunt me when I’m not receiving the same energy that I put out into the world.
2) I want to be responsible for myself, and feel like I can take care of myself on my own.
3) I don’t want to feel like a child trapped inside the body of a man. And I want others to perceive me the way that I perceive myself.

I want to experience what it feels like to be independent, happy, and at peace.
@CheeryMango I want to let go of blaming myself for things I can’t change, feeling like I wasn’t good enough, and constantly thinking about what I could have done differently. Instead, I want to feel more confident in myself, accept that some things are outside of my control, and focus more on moving forward and being happy again.
