Long Distance
My girlfriend and I just started long distance because of college. She’s been super busy with volleyball and settling in but I don’t start until September. It’s been hard for me because I just miss her so much all the time. I struggle to find things to do to keep my mind off of her. I also just feel like I miss her more than she misses me. I hate the feeling of waking up sad and only being able to think about her but nothing to do about it. We try to text and call as much as possible but it’s almost not enough for me. I’m just not sure what to do. I hope others could offer wisdom or their experience with long distance.

Hello!
Sorry to hear that you’ve been struggling with
long distance. It must be very hard on you both. In my experience, communicate
and trust goes a long way. I hope things work out. It sounds like you really care
about her <3 Sending you warm regards. 🌿🌺

Long distance can be challenging especially if for example different time zones ..... and you are in a different part of your day then they are........
it is hard to keep in touch sometimes due to busy schedules as well ... back and forth chatting even phone calls can last a long time and may not fit into both of your schedules.
I know it can get frustrating i have had times doing this with spouse who used to travel a lot for work sometimes a month at a time ..... expected a call or face time or text but as he was 3 hours ahead he was tired from work and went to bed.
that should be logical but if i had something i wanted to talk about or share ....... i was very disappointed that i had to wait an extra day or whatever to tell him. let her know how you feel encourage text when she has time ....
Hi I’m going through the same thing. My boyfriend left for study abroad for the next five months. I’m trying to be supportive and happy for the great opportunity but I can’t help but be sad. I’m scared that everything between us will change and our relationship is still new (5 months) that I don’t feel like we have a solid foundation. I know he is all in and willing to work this out but it’s easier said than done. I’m having trust issues. I’m terrified he might cheat on me while over there. He has reassured me countless of times he is not going for the girls but the opportunity but I know mistakes happen due to alcohol. There is so many things up in the air right now. I don't know what to do. Should I end it?
