My boyfriend still text his ex what do I do?

My boyfriend texts his ex often knowing she has feelings for him and claiming he has none for her in fact he finds her annoying and he tells me abt them talking knowing she makes me insecure he has offered to block her but i dont want yo be controlling so i say its fine but its not okay he also points out pretty girls ask me his girlfriend if he should go up to them because he knows ig hurts me my friend says he does it so he knows i still care but im not too sure.
