Partner is addicted to gaming.
I have a gf who is addicted to gaming and she would make me wait for hours before she finishes. She wouldn't play it with me either since she has her own friends. It wouldn't be a problem if it's not all the time until it's starting to affect the rs. I don't understand why she won't game when I'm not around so we'll have time to talk when we're free since we're both busy people. It gets to the point that she's free but only wants to spend time with her family and friends. I'm getting tired of it. When I'm away to do tasks she'd procrastinate but when I'm back she'd suddenly feel productive. A day has 24 hrs I don't understand why she won't get her tasks done when I'm not around. She even does something else during our time to talk and makes me wait. I don't feel like waiting anymore so I start to go do something else and I'd tell her but she'd tell me to wait which is annoying. I did tell her before that i disliked waiting and wished she'd get her things done before I come back and when we're talking I want her to focus our talks not disappear for 30 mins and come back then disappear again. This is why we don't have a conversation. I'm fed up to the point that I don't feel like telling her what's wrong anymore I said it before and she should already know by now. I don't have all day to wait for her and I dislike people who don't keep their promises. Which is why when I'm upset I don't talk to her.

many people IMO take gaming on too much... fine to do in down time or by yourself but as you said when it is time for her to spend with you ....... you should not come second behind games or her deciding to do things she put off perhaps when she was gaming.
I know many will disagree with me but i have had my partner say just a few more minutes etc when i served dinner and complained it was cold .... too bad your Game was more important then warm food.
I too am done talking about it or waiting for them to finish.... or even tell them important things if they are just staring at a screen ..... the "OK i will stop when.... you are present" is a broken promise before it was even made..... life is too short ......
I do my own thing now get up and leave....... as soon as i see them trying to pretend they are on computer for other things.... took a trip out of state ...
left for almost 2 weeks ...............they were stunned.... I told them "OH thought your game would keep you busy as always" ............. have not seen it on their computer since.
