Here's the thing I live with my mom have been most of my live due to circumstances in life right now and we've always had issues being together 24/7 and I want to branch out on my own but currently we are in the process of moving selling our family home that we've both lived in forever and with how the current way the world is with the housing industry is I might not be able to be in the *location* that I personally want and her and I can't agree on anything without getting frustrated at each other.

I do love my mom don't get me wrong I do its just I can't live with her on a constant basis like I have been. Its important that we both get what we want and need in our individual lives as 2 seperate people as it should be.

I'm definitely not selfish or anything like she keeps telling me on a constant basis for years. I want to eventually move out on my own but 1st I have to be able to afford too before I can which I have to do since everything is so extra expensive right now

I'm currently working on that as I'm going as I have been and continue to do

I'm focusing on myself as I should and trying my best to do as I'm going with how things are currently are right now. How do I deal with this? Without feeling like I am not going to lose what I really want and need for myself when she has different things in mind and gets what she needs and wants as well too.

I've talked with family members and my counselor about this as well too and they all tell me to focus on myself and continue to do so as I should be. We are 2 people and need to thrive in our own lives.

@Leanna3333

I think being with anyone 24/7 could lead to some friction. I see how it would become frustrating. Everything is very expensive at the moment, so I understand how it would be hard to get your own place. I think your counselor and family members said it best. It sounds like you are doing your best. 💜
