My „friends“ ignore me

Hello, :)

My "friends" at school ignore me and hate me probably because one of "my friends" said that I said bad things to her about everyone else in my friend group, which is not true. I never said anything bad about any of my friends. And nobody believes me and I'm totally alone now because I don't have any other friends either. And my friends are actually so important to me because we've been through so much together. And I just can't lose them. Do you have any suggestions what I could do?

And I mean I think I can deal with loneliness for a time because in elementary school I had a pretty similiar situation, but for a long time no and I am scared I will hurt myself again.

Hi! I want to say that I am sorry that this is happening to you. You sound like a wonderful person and deserve so much more. I can empathize with you because I myself am going through a similar situation. It sucks so much when friends don’t really value you as much as you value those around you. You feel like you put in so much and can never receive enough back and that puts the bar low for what you will settle for and accept. So to you I say, know your worth. If you keep being you then that energy will attract the right people, people who care and enrich your life. Once again I am sorry that this is happening to you, I feel like this is starting to become a more prominent issue in our younger generation. People just don’t seem to care about others as much. Wishing you the best!

@isi124

Generally speaking in an I said /they said situation ...... the person either wanted to cause a rift or mistook something you said .......... either way only the person with the ability to convince others will prevail......... Notice i did not say the TRUTH because that boat has sailed.

i have had so called "friends" twist what i said and made it sound much worse then what i actually said.... in my case the friends were being asked to say false things so they twisted whatever they could but i have also seen people twist or lie about what a person said because they were angry with a person.

You could try if you KNOW exactly what was said to fight the perception but in the end good friend will KNOW you would not say bad things ....... if they all believe so easily then perhaps they are not good friends.

@isi124 That sounds really tough, but your strong and can get through it. It doesn't seem like these friends are really your friends at all. Surrounding yourself with people that you can love and trust, people that support you through the hard times, and laugh with you through the memories are who you want to be around. There's that one quote that's like "Friends come and go but family is forever" And when you have close enough friends, they become your family.

It may seem hard to distance yourself to find new friends, because they're all you may have known, but it won't necessarily end until you do. Stay strong though because you got this 💪
