Looking for help to find God's Will
Hi, I have a lot lot on my mind, lots of stresses. I am a young lady of faith, I believe the King James Bible, and I desperately need God's leading, but not so sure about how to find it or get it or to know how to properly follow God in situations that I need His specific guidance.
Is there anyone who is a wise Christian here that can help me with this difficult problem? I would so appreciate it and it would be much help please!
@DelicateYuri970 I hear your sincere wish to learn about prayer. I can only share what has worked for me and I hope you find what will work for you.
When I first started to pray I went on and on about all the things I wanted. Then there was very little time to hear what message there might be for me.
Later I begain to read a passage of the Bible that really inspired me and contemplated its meaning by asking a question after reading a line from the 23rd Psalm: "He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake."
Bringing that quote to mind and then silently asking the question: "What does that verse mean for me in my life? What is it suggesting I do?"
And then after asking that question, just listening silently for a couple minutes or 10 or 15 minute to just see what comes to mind. And if I am tuned in, I may catch a little inspiration that I can apply in my life. That is how prayer has helped me.

I am a follower of God. Some of the ways that helped me connect with God was reading the Bible, and praying every night or a few days of the week. When I am praying I pray for what I want in my life or for someone else's wellbeing. When I read the Bible I normally try reading the first book of the Bible or I downloaded an app and follow a Bible study plan. Also another way is getting baptist that demonstrates that you are truly a believer in God and you make this dedication in front of the church.
