Hold On — God Still Moves
The end of the year is almost here…
What are your expectations?
Have you given up? Lost hope?
Remember — it doesn’t take a new year for God to do a new thing.
He can still turn things around before the year ends.
Hold on to faith. Keep believing.
Miracles are still possible.
@Lulucares
I have not given up with God's help and mercy. I am in a better place now and Christ is helping me. Only God has the power to change my heart. I have done some wrong things in His eyes but He has not given up on me and every breath of my life is proof of that.
@Lulucares My hope is on scale going up and down.
@thehealingroomwithlulu
I am learning through his word to not have expectations and worldly desires. Obviously that’s hard. I do expect to continue growing my faith. I expect to submit myself to him more fully. Hoping and wishing for things I am slowly learning is becoming a waste of time. For the new year I hope to fully surrender myself to his guidance for my life.
@thehealingroomwithlulu,
As the end of the year approaches…
When something we consider “ours” goes missing, it feels as if a part of us is lost as well.
Big or small, whatever it is, we don’t easily give up looking for it.
A pen, a watch, a pair of glasses…
We can’t simply say, “It’s just a small thing—forget it.”
Until we find it, our mind keeps going back to it.
Isn’t it strange, then?
With the capital of our lifetime, we can obtain almost anything—
except time itself.
Not a single day.
Not an hour.
Not even a moment can be bought back.
Perhaps that is why we spend life so easily:
because we never paid for it with money.
Yet life is not an ordinary possession to be wasted carelessly.
It is not even fully ours.
It is something entrusted to us,
a priceless capital over which we have no absolute control.
We grieve when a simple object is lost—
but do we feel the same sorrow for the days quietly slipping away from our lives?
Another year is passing.
Are only calendar pages falling away?
Or is something from us disappearing without us noticing?
Maybe the real question is this:
Do we search for lost time
with the same persistence we show when we lose our belongings?
And at some point, one pauses and realizes:
We lived as if this world were permanent…
and without noticing, we spent our most precious capital.
And yet, there is still hope.
May the new year be one where wars fall silent, hearts grow gentler,
and everyone is granted health, peace, and a life lived with dignity.
May it help us recognize what we have lost
and use the time that remains with greater awareness and compassion.
