@RamsayWick9780 it all depends on whether or not the people involved are open-minded and accepting towards other beliefs. I believe that moral values like altruism and kindness are independent from religion and you can share them across different beliefs. As long as you have compatible values you accept the others as they are, it's ok.
If different beliefs cause conflict and pain, though, it's ok to keep the distance in order to preserve our well-being, and reconsider things only if / when there will be ground for civil dialogue.
