The disease of love and What Islam says about it🥀✨

In today’s fast-paced century 🕒, many of our Muslim daughters and sisters 👧🏻🧕🏼 are silently suffering... not from hunger or poverty, but from a quiet, creeping illness: the disease of love 💔.

A love that begins with a message 📩...

Grows through daily chats 📱...

And slowly steals peace from the heart 💭🕊️.

They weren’t born with this ❌.

They didn’t choose it knowingly 🤷‍♀️.

But somewhere between emotions 💞, loneliness 🌙, social media 🌐, and blurred boundaries 🚫—they lost their way 🧭.

Why is this happening?

Why are so many hearts falling 💫—before nikah 💍, before the time is right ⏳?

Why is it that the very love that should have been a source of comfort 🤍—ends up causing pain, guilt, and distance from Allah ﷻ?

The Qur’an 📖 gave us answers centuries ago.

Allah سبحانه وتعالى gave us signs in His verses 🌿, in His creations—especially the bee 🐝.

Yes, the bee.

Through it, Allah shows us

✨ what purity looks like,

🌪️ what confusion feels like,

and how modern distractions—like mobile phones 📵—are silently stealing our direction.

Let’s reflect together 🤲🏻…

On the verses that explain not only the physical honey 🍯 of the bee—

But also the spiritual honey 🕊️ we were meant to carry in our hearts ♥️.

Here's the beginning 🌿:

> “And indeed, in the cattle there is a lesson for you: We give you to drink from what is in their bellies—between digested food and blood—pure milk, pleasant to those who drink it.”

Now, let's have a look at the topic of milk personified in this verse of Quran

"To extract pure, clean milk from within the mixture of blood and dung is a clear sign. It tells us that even in the worst of circumstances, if we have sincerity and pure intentions, we can still find goodness."✨ 😊

Nothing is completely good or bad in itself. Even from filth, something pure can emerge. And sometimes, even from something pure, people can produce something harmful.🥀

Do you remember the incident when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was presented with three cups and he chose milk? 🥛

Why? Because milk represents human nature—fitrah. 🍄‍🟫 🌿

Now, let's read the next verse:

> “And from the fruits of the date-palm and the vine, you derive strong drink and good provision. Verily, in that is a sign for a people who understand.”

Dates. Grapes. From something pure, people can create something harmful.

So, my wise friends, the **third drink—wine—**comes from pure fruits.

It all depends on you.🫵

So use your blessings wisely. Use the media, technology and The phone for good. Don't look at what you shouldn't. Don’t do what you know is forbidden.💐

Then, move on to the next verse:

> "And your Lord inspired the bee: 🐝'Make your homes in the mountains, in the trees, and in what they build. Then eat from all kinds of fruits and follow the paths your Lord made easy for you.' From their bellies comes a drink of different colors, in which there is healing for mankind. Surely, in this is a sign for people who reflect."

Yet, the 🐝 has a sting in it—but still, it produces camphor for people.

This verse flowed like poetry—perhaps even a Marvi verse. It hinted at the fourth drink. Honey .The one whose drinking brings healing.

“The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ once said, The first thing that comes to mind when speaking of healing… is honey.”

“By the way, there’s a big difference between eating honey and drinking it.” 🍯

“I’ll try it someday,” I said quietly, taking a deep breath.

This verse tells us,”:

“That Allah inspired the bee to seek shelter in distant, secure places—far from settlements. To eat from clean fruits, and to follow paths made easy for it. Then, from its belly comes out a drink of various colors, in which there is healing for mankind.”🍯✨🐝

They don’t understand meaning—and even when meaning evolves with time and circumstances, they don’t evolve with it. The Qur’an has scope… but sadly, the readers of the Qur’an often don’t.”

"🍯 Why is pure honey — once praised in the Qur’an as a healing cure — slowly disappearing from our lives? What has changed in our world that even the bees can’t find their way home anymore?"

“Some people." “Don’t accept this kind of research."

They say the honey decline is due to pesticides and chemicals.

But I believe this research—because I can see a link between that and this verse.”

“Mobile murder.” 📱

“They are connected.”“You all know it—there are tall towers everywhere.” 🗼

“A whole invisible world is linked through waves you can’t even see.

The world is trapped in that net.” 🌊

“But…...that’s not a bad thing in itself.”

“Technology is a necessity.”

“Everyone has it.”

“But—”

And it all started making sense.

A bee 🐝—with the knowledge and guidance from Allah—builds its home in far-off mountains and trees. 🌴

It wanders all day long, sits on countless flowers, collects nectar, and returns to its home. But not anymore.😢

In 1955, bees would return to their hives.

But now, in these years, things are different:

(Look at your mobiles) 📱

“This… is the reason

Yesss!!! These phones!!

“This… is the reason.”

"And your Lord inspired the bee…"🐝

Whenever the bee leaves her home, 🏡 she follows an inner compass 🧭—a magnetic guidance system gifted by her Lord.

She knows the path.

She follows it instinctively.

She lands on flower after flower, each unique, each carrying a trace of divine design.

A flower 🌸 is not just a flower. It’s a signal, a scent, a promise.

And after her work, she flies back home. 🏠

But now…

In between her and her home lies a net—a web 🕸️ of mobile phone waves.

When the magnetic field is disturbed by these invisible signals, the bee 🐝 becomes disoriented.

She gets confused. 😕

She forgets her way. 😢

She loses the trail back to her companions, her hive, her home.

She flies in circles…⭕

From one point to another…

Then eventually, she falls—

And dies alone. 😭

Every day, fewer and fewer bees return home. 🏠

When I learned this, it struck me like lightning:

"Why would Allah give such a deep example in the Qur’an through a tiny bee? 🐝

Why would He name an entire Surah after it—Surah An-Nahl (The Bee)? 🐝

And suddenly, I understood how this “mobile” is sweetening our world on the surface, yet silently poisoning it from within.

There are so many good, kind-hearted girls I’ve known…

They once brought honey into their homes—not literal honey, but the kind made from faith, sincerity, and sweetness of character.🌷🌷

They left home every day with a heart ❤️ full of dreams and a mind full of light.✨

They walked easy, clean paths.✨

They were flowers themselves—blessing others.

But then—mobile phones came between.

The signals tangled their routes.

They became confused.😕

They started crafting justifications just to talk to someone they shouldn't.

“I’m not doing anything wrong.”

“Islam isn’t that strict.”

“Even a cousin is like a brother.”

“Everyone does it…”

And in this chaos, they lost the way home.

They wandered, door to door, screen to screen.

They once healed others with the light of the Qur’an and strength of intellect.

They were meant for more.

But these signals—these invisible waves—made them sick.🥀

It’s the sickness of practice. The disease of losing one’s way.

If anyone among you is suffering from this illness—

Let honey be your cure.🌸

But even to taste that cure, you must first fix your path.

Because there are two dangerous roads 🛣️

One is the trap of your own desires,

And the other… is the pain of being caught.

She had never brought along her beloved—nor even held his hand.

All she ever did was return home each day with a heart full of hope, like a bee seeking honey.🐝🌷

She searched for flowers, for joy, for something beautiful and real.

But somewhere along the way, the mobile phone came in between.

Her path—once clear—suddenly grew complicated.

She got confused.😕

She made excuses—so many of them—to talk to someone who wasn’t her mahram.

Some told her,

> “Even a cousin is like a brother.”

“Islam isn’t that strict.”

“We’re just talking—I haven’t done anything wrong.”

“Everyone does it.”

“It’s harmless…”

And in this cloud of self-made reasoning…

She lost her way.🥺

She forgot the path home.

She began to wander—door to door, 🚪 screen to screen, soul to soul.

Once, she walked easy paths, filled with the light of Qur’an, with sincerity in her heart.

She used to bring healing to others.

She was made for purity.

She had a mind full of talent, a spirit full of purpose.

She was honey herself.✨🐝

But these mobile signals… this modern noise… it made her sick.

The disease of love—false love—is now everywhere.💔

If any of you are suffering from this illness🤒, know this:

There is a cure.

But before the cure, you must first fix your paths.

There are two dark roads:

One, full of pain from heartbreak. 💔

The other, full of fear from being caught.😣

Leave both.

I don’t want to bore you with long words.🙂

So let me shorten the lesson:

Just as pure milk comes from between blood and filth,

Just as intoxicants come from dates and grapes, 🍇

You too have choices.

Whether you make something pure or impure out of what Allah has given you—

That choice is yours.🫵

But remember this:

Whatever is written for you, you will get it.🥹

Whether halal or haram—if it’s in your destiny, it will come.

But if you try to take it through haram means,

Allah will remove the sweetness from your halal.😔

That is why…

Some couples today—married, by their own choice—are still living unhappy lives.🥀

Why?

Because they already took everything forbidden before marriage.😣

What was meant to be beautiful later… became tasteless.

So if you’re involved with someone, even your fiancé,

And you’re talking freely through a mobile phone—

Then know this:

There is no difference between a non-mahram and a fiancé.

Halal doesn’t start with engagement. It starts with nikah.❤️

The rules of mahram and non-mahram don’t change because of your emotions or excuses.

Your clever justifications don’t rewrite divine laws.

What is wrong… is wrong.🥀

And what is confusing… will lead to loss.

> The more haram you take,

The more you’ll lose your halal.😔

> If you leave the forbidden for the sake of Allah,

If you abandon what is haram—not out of fear, but out of love for Him—

Allah will give you that very thing in halal.

And not just give it—He will give it soon.

Don’t take my word for it.

Take the word of Imam Ibn al-Qayyim,

who said this over 700 years ago.

You know,

Allah doesn’t withhold from anyone out of stinginess.

He is Al-Ghayyūr—deeply protective over His servants.✨

When you give up something for Him,

He multiplies your reward in ways you never imagined.

He sees. He knows. He gives.🌷💞✨

We girls are just like bees — created with beauty and purpose, but only safe when we stay close to the guidance of our Creator. 🐝✨

🌷🌷The points you've made on this topic are truly profound. Your connection between bees and their drink in the Holy Quran and the challenges of the digital age is so thought provoking. The greatness of Allah (جل جلاله)is evident in everything, even in these small creatures. The idea that modern technology can cause some to lose their way, just as electromagnetic waves can affect bees, is a deeply impactful comparison. This reminds us that the choice is always in our hands and we are responsible for how we use God's blessings, and that the Holy Quran is our guide that lights our way.

im gonna be a bit vulnerable sharing my experiences here.

im a muslim woman currently dating an atheist. when i was in my teens i was faced with a lot of religious trauma from my parents. i remember my dad being violent towards me and my mum telling me i would go to *** if i don't pray. over the years i fell into depression realizing that i could not rely on my muslim parents for emotional support. i felt lost. i felt like they were weaponizing islam to control me.

i met my LDR bf few years ago and he honestly saved my life. when i was crying at night or harming myself he would always open his ears to listen to me. i made a lot of mistakes in my relationship but somehow he was more forgiving than my father ever was.

i talked to my therapist about this and she told me its a pattern she notice in a lot of religious controlled abusive households. a controlling father, and the rebellious child.

i understand that islam teaches kindness and compassion as i was always schooled in a religious academy. but i'm just here telling u my experience if u are still wondering why so many muslim woman are experiencing this. it usually stems from traumatic experiences and neglect in their upbringing.

in conclusion, we shouldn't judge someone for their "sins". no one is perfect. we should be encouraging islam in a way that can accept people despite their flaws instead of magnifying and shaming their actions. ♥️

🌸 First of all, thank you for your vulnerability and for trusting this space with your story. It takes courage to speak out about pain, especially when it’s connected to something as sacred as faith and family. 💔

You’re absolutely right — Islam is not meant to be used as a weapon, but as a mercy. The Prophet ﷺ was never harsh, even with those who sinned. Instead, he guided with love, wisdom, and immense patience. 🕊️

What you went through with your parents is not a reflection of Islam — it’s a reflection of how some people misunderstand or misuse it. And that hurts deeply, because the home should be the place where Islam feels safe, not scary.

I'm truly sorry you didn’t get that comfort from the people who should’ve been your first protectors. And may Allah replace that pain with peace and healing. Ameen. 🤍

As for your current journey, I can’t judge — only Allah knows the hearts, the histories, and the hidden battles. 🌧️ But I pray that the light of Islam returns to you in a gentle, healing form — not through force, but through understanding and love. 🕯️

Just remember: Allah never turns away the broken. In fact, He says:

> “Call upon Me; I will respond to you.” (Qur’an 40:60)

Don’t let people’s harshness block your path to a Merciful Lord. Even if you're far, even if you've made mistakes, you are not beyond His Mercy.

Sending you duas and light on your path. 🤲🏻♥️

Assalaamu alaykum warahmatullaahi wabaarakaatahu.

This is a very thoughtful post. The traps of the haraam and the bliss of the halaal.

I was reminded of the ayaat by a member:

"Indeed, Allah would never change a peopleâs state ˹of favour˺ until they change their own state ˹of faith˺." (13:11).

Sometimes, like I was told, leaving the haraam can be as simple as making dua and Allah granting us the opportunity to come out. But sometimes the doorways can be scary. It may have potential dire consequence. Sometimes we prefer the comfort of what we have than the fear of the unknown.

But, after this length of time, I believe this is a test of tawakkul. I'm not a learned person so you shouldn't take my words as means of action - always consult the learned. But I'm starting to believe, we can either stay trapped or take the plunge into the unknown and trust Allaah.

Hasbunullaah wa nimalwakeel.

I am very inspired by much of these posts I see.

May Allaah grant guidance, ease and nasr to the ummah with all it's difficulties. Grant us strength and patience to do that which we fear. Ameen.

I fear this ummah is in need of a lot of dua, especially myself. I feel for all those that struggle, who seek closeness but are afraid.

Please keep the ummah in your duas.
