Why Do My Prayers Seem Unanswered?
At first glance, this question reflects a sense of silence.
But when looked at more deeply, perhaps the direction of the question itself is incomplete.
For a mind that reflects upon the universe sees this:
This world is not a place of chaos…
Rather, it is like a perfectly ordered city, a well-governed palace.
Everything is in its place—measured, purposeful, and full of wisdom.
Then an unavoidable question arises:
Is it conceivable that the One who created such a perfect and meaningful order
would not speak to His most important guests,
would not make Himself known within His own dominion?
For there is a simple truth:
The one who makes, knows…
and the one who knows, speaks.
If even a small work of art points to its maker,
if even a limited system reveals its designer,
how could this vast, intricate, and meaningful universe
remain without a voice that introduces its Creator?
Indeed, reflection opens the door to a deeper truth:
The Owner of this universe acts with knowledge and wisdom…
Since the One who makes knows, He speaks.
And if He speaks, He speaks to those who can understand, reflect, and respond.
Here the matter deepens:
Among all beings, the human is the most conscious, the most reflective,
the one most capable of seeking meaning.
Would not the address, then, be directed primarily to humanity?
So perhaps the real question is not only:
"Why are my prayers unanswered?"
but also:
"Am I truly listening to the One I am calling upon?
Or am I only hearing my own voice?"
For prayer is not only asking—
it is also seeking to understand.
And sometimes what appears to be “silence”
may simply be the result of searching in the wrong place.
The unity, harmony, and order in the universe
point not to multiplicity at the source, but to Oneness.
Answers sought in divided directions
may, in fact, be waiting in a single truth.
And then one is left with a final question:
“If the One who governs this perfect order is One,
how sincerely am I turning toward that Oneness?”

This is a question many have pondered. This is a question that often tests faith.
The item I learned is when we pray are we ready for an answer that does not match what we pray for.
Some prayers are answered but the answer is not what we want to hear or is not instant... we get our answer weeks or months later. we do not see it as the answer as we may have forgot what we prayed for and had assumed the answer was not coming.

Your reflection points to an important truth:
Sometimes the answer to a prayer does not come in the form or time we expect.
But perhaps there is a deeper layer to consider.
When we look carefully at the universe, we see that nothing is random.
Everything unfolds with measure, wisdom, and purpose.
From this, a subtle question emerges:
Is the issue only when and how prayers are answered—
or also to whom they are directed?
For there is a simple yet profound principle:
The One who creates with knowledge, governs with wisdom.
And the One who truly knows, does not leave Himself unknown.
If this universe is like a perfectly ordered palace,
is it conceivable that its Owner would leave its most conscious guests
without guidance, without address, without making Himself known?
As expressed in a classical line of thought:
“The one who makes, knows… and the one who knows, speaks.”
So yes—answers may come in unexpected ways,
and not always immediately.
But perhaps the deeper question is this:
Are we recognizing the One who answers?
Or are we interpreting everything only within our own expectations?
Because sometimes what appears as a delayed or hidden answer
may also be a call to re-examine
not only our expectations…
but our understanding of the One we turn to.
And when the unity and harmony of the universe are taken seriously,
they seem to point toward not many separate sources of response,
but toward a single, all-encompassing One.
Then the question becomes more refined:
Not only “Why is my prayer unanswered?”
but “Am I truly turning toward the One who hears, knows, and responds as One?”
