I would like to have conversation with someone who have knowledge of Islam.
It is just I have very negative perception of Islam in general, but that might change if I chat with someone.

If you do so please make sure they are someone actually knowledgeable. There are many negative stereotypes that are easily refuted. I myself am muslim and can try to help speak to you but I am not a scholar or student of knowledge! Please also don’t take the options of anyone on anything religious if they do not provide valid evidences. In sha’ Allah this conversation will be beneficial to you.

@Mindfulseeker I understand you are trying to help, but it would be best if you didn’t answer. Sufis and Shias contribute greatly to the negative stereotypes and are considered deviant sects by Sunnis. They have beliefs and traditions etc that are not found within the core of the religion that have led to many problems. Other extremist groups as well don’t represent the religion right either. So it would be best to not answer if the individual chooses to reach out. Thanks
