7Cups policy in regard to verbally abusing members: a couple of questions
A few days ago I have been verbally abused in the PDs community by a fellow member. I flagged the posts, but noone reprimended his behaviour. The thread was deleted as per his request. He later kept on abusing me on my personal thread in the General Support section.
Do verbally abusive members ever receive a sort of warning, as in 'hey, this behaviour of yours is not acceptable as it goes against the website rules', or not? Are they free to keep on their harrasment? Could a member ever be banned?
This very same member had showed the same attitude in the past and, again, I very much doubt he was reprimended at that time. I would be happy if these incidents could be investigated and receive and external and objective opinion (I get I may also be at fault and I am ready to admit any mistake from my part if there were any).
I do not feel safe in this place anymore.
@admaiorasemper Forum mentors cannot do anything besides edit or delete posts.
Members can be suspended and banned, but it's mostly admins who do that. I do find this frustrating, and I wish forum mentors had the same capabilities as chat room mods. As a forum member leader I do contact admin if I notice the same person repeating inappropriate behaviour.

I am sorry for your bad experience with the abusive member. 7cups is a supportive website and the abusive members will not be tolerated to spread hate message to anyone. I hope you are taking care of yourself .
