Update: Safety Coordinators and Community Management

Hi, everyone!

Last summer a part-time position was created in order to provide support during the Community Managers off-hours. Two people were brought on to fulfill this: Power and myself. We've come a long way since last summer, and if we know anything about our 7 Cups, we know the only constant is change!

Now that we have paid moderators, we have much more coverage when it comes to monitoring rooms, which was one of the main reasons for needing Safety Coordinators. We have since retired the position, but the good news is...

- I am now a full-time Community Manager
- all 3 of us CMs (Laura, Jill and myself) are sharing all safety and oversight responsibilities

This means we are all united in caring for the community. Speaking of safety, let me point you to Laura's outline of all of our existing protocols and reporting systems so you know exatly what to do when!
