A new type of forum spam?
I'm not sure if I'm just crazy or something but I swear I've seen at least two different members (I checked one out just now...brand new member account!) within the past day post a link about some relationship guru person. These were posted as replies within threads, so they're not as easy to spot, but they were both the same scripted short blurb and then a link. Nothing actually in response to the OP. So idk. I guess keep an eye out for them? I didn't check out the link but even if it's an actual thing I'm pretty sure that people aren't supposed to advertise services on here? Idk.
I just looked into it, it does in fact appear to be a paid service.
@Phthalo I haven't come across it recently, but if you tag me I can deal with it. I suspect this is something I have seen for many years on different sites.
Yes, that person has been spamming for an off site pay therapist. They create new accounts when their posts are flagged. Please report them and flag them when you see them.
