When you encounter a listener who you feel isn't behaving as a proper listener should, leaving a written review or blocking and reporting them if you feel that step is necessary is the quickest and easiest way to have the problem brought to attention. If the situation is especially severe, you could also contact one of the community managers or send them an email at community@7cupsoftea.com.

I'm not sure how you've been finding listeners up to now, but I can tell you that it tends to be a little less risky as to listener quality when you select one from the Browse Listeners page. When you put in a general request, there's no guarantee that you'll be matched with a listener who will be a good match for you. Looking at listeners' bios, star rating, text reviews, topics of experience, and number of chats can help you get a better idea of whether they're a good/professional/experienced listener, whether they'll be of help to you with the topics you'd like to talk about, and whether their personality might be a good match for yours.

Again, I'm so sorry that you've had some bad chat experiences! Leaving those reviews or reporting listeners who you feel aren't at the level of quality that you'd expect to find at 7 Cups of Tea is really helpful to the whole community and a great way to have your poor experiences noticed and acted upon.
