Is there any way to get rid of noni?
Lately while using my member account. They changed noni to spam your indbox sending you messages almost every day asking how you are and such. Noni is a bot which was created like a answering machine to hold people on conversation while looking for a listener. Maybe someone got the crazy idea that using noni to spam on everyone`s chat was a good idea. Personally I highly disagree with this , I consider it spaming, I hope they dont come with the idea of spaming ads with noni, or anything like that.
So seriously how do you think a bot, spaming unwanted dialogue could do any good to this 7 cups?
I told noni like usually to "stop" but stop for one day, and then other day continue writting me messages, and I cannot block noni, or erase their messages, is there any way to do something about it. There are many other people who are also complaming about the new noni. Don`t you have a petition box to turn off a new feauture such as noni to be changed back to how it was, only ment to keep people talking about some info while waiting for a listener?

I blocked Noni's messages and removed her from my chat list. For instructions, see: Block Noni
To deal with the spam e-mail I made a filter in my mail (Gmail). Another filter deals with spam from 7 Cups' other bot, Sophia.

I completely agree. I am sad about it too.
There is a story I read recently, a story about when 7 Cups was just starting. Back then it was providing a service that users did not really like. In order to become successful, it had to change the service to one that users wanted.
But now it seems to have relapsed, and its original philosophy has returned. If this is how the story ends, it will be a sad ending.

Found it—a comment in Hacker News at Y Combinator, apparently by 7cupsoftea (known to us as @GlenM ).
"[Paul Buchheit] was the first investor in 7 Cups. I'm thankful for all of the ways that he helped us. He is very good at motivating founders. I can't all the way understand how he does it, but it is remarkable. I think a big part of it is helping people face reality directly. i.e., he alludes to this in the interview when he says most people are good at finding obstacles (i.e., excuses) and that he doesn't fund them. He is good at keeping you honest so that you do not delude yourself into making fake progress or going down wrong turns. Another way of saying this is that he helps you minimize denial. Quick story:
"I had been working on 7 Cups for about a month prior to getting to [Y Combinator]. I had a home page up, which I was pretty excited about. The core idea of the chat/voice support wasn't yet live. I showed him the website and wanted to show him some of the segments we wanted to focus on (parents of children with disabilities, veterans etc.). He quickly asked - have you got the actual product in front of users yet? I tried to dodge the question, talk more about the site etc. He repeated the question. I had to honestly answer that no we hadn't yet released it. He was like, okay go do that and report back next week. I was stalling because, on some level, I was afraid that it wouldn't work as well as I hoped. We pushed through, launched it, and learned a ton in that next week. For example, we learned that voice was too intimate and people preferred messaging.
"And that basic cycle happened over and over again. Like there might be things that sound right or are even partially right, but if they are not the most direct thing that is going to help you learn and make a product people want, then it is probably not a good use of your time."

@RarelyCharlie I think part is common sense, and trying to foresee what is the public gonna think about it.
The other part about making something new is actually testing and getting feed back .
I also thought about that idead about getting this 7 cups to have voice chat option.
Difficult points
1. Even though many people wont have the courage to speak
2 there is the language barrier, that most people wont be able to talk properly
3 it will need a moderator to be there at all times, cause bulliying will be a big risk
4 moderators will have a hard job moderating a voice chat.
good points
1. more connected, its always better to talk to someone and hear their voice.
I think you should try to see how it goes, and leave it like an extra feauture
