Returning members
Hi
I am always looking through browse listeners to find an ideal listener. There are many with good star ratings who have helped many people and I wondered if there was a way to see if a listener had members who go back and talk to them again?
It might seem a strange question, but I figured with me hoping to find more long term support rather than one off chats it would be a good idea to see the listeners who members feel comfortable returning to.
Is there any way to know that? Do the listeners themselves know how many of their members become regular?

Hey there. From what I understand, listeners should be able to view how long it's been since they contacted a member as us members can see when we last talked to a listener in our My Progress page. However, I don't think they can see if the member has returned since; perhaps they could by remembering or something, but I doubt so as most listeners have a lot of members. I understand that you'd like a long-term listener, though. Perhaps you could check out the Member Classifieds and attempt to look for a listener by reaching out there? If you'd like, maybe another option could be asking the listener if they're taking on any long-term members. Hope this helps :)

Yes, we do see our number of "Repeat Users", and I agree that this would be useful info to show on Listener profiles. It can give an impression of that person's style/preferences and the chance that they'd be open to longer-term support, as you said. It can probably also be an indicator of quality - especially for Listeners that otherwise don't look very active or don't have lots of ratings etc. - if a lot of their members feel so well supported that they come back. I definitely think you should put this in the Suggestion Box! :)
I agree about adding this to the suggestion box. You can get an idea of repeat members if you look at a listener's profile currently. Look at the number of chats and the number of people helped.
The number of chats isn't a perfect tool, as I think it's based on number of messages so a really long chat will count as more than one. It can give you a rough idea though.
Hello.
