What is 7 Cups' Zero-Tolerance Policy?
As asked in the title.
A post keeps being linked as the zero-tolerance policy, the thread itself is mostly about the Support 24/7 room. The words zero, tolerance, and policy never actually appear in that thread, let alone the OP.
Is the policy only for group rooms? Only that room?
How does that fit in with the behaviour points?
The community guidelines mention a zero tolerance policy for sexting and flirting, is this a different zero tolerance policy than the post that keeps being linked? If so can we get better clarification?
Can we have all of the information in one place so a forum search isn't required?

Both of these only contain bits and pieces of the relevant information.
I think this subcommunity should also have all of this information easy to find.

@AffyAvo I agree that it is good to make information easy to find. I think a tradition at 7 Cups has always been to hide important information in the forum. This was kind of OK in the days when we could search the forum using Google etc. But when that possibility was removed (to discourage spam, I suppose), and with our forum's own search feature broken (to save money by reducing server load, I suppose), it has made finding information difficult, especially for newbies.
Another tradition at 7 Cups has always been to introduce unclear and unnecessary terminology. Again, this confuses newbies. Ideally, any "zero tolerance policy" link should take you to a page that really does describe "zero tolerance policy" without calling it something else.
And a third tradition (as far as I can tell) is that individual pages on the website, such as the Community Guidelines, cannot be edited directly by admins. As a result, those pages are difficult to keep in line with the evolving needs of the community.
I think a better system would be to make the Community Guidelines directly editable by a designated admin, subject to review by a small panel of experienced members and listeners to ensure consistent terminology and clarity. Then ban everyone else from making up rules for the community as a whole.
In this particular case the "zero tolerance policy" page appears to me to be Keeping Support Rooms Supportive: Chatroom Guidelines Announcement, which doesn't mention zero tolerance explicitly. It seems to apply only to chatrooms.
Only one of the five numbered items on that page is a zero tolerance policy:
3. Both or all parties engaging in an argument or conflict will be instantly muted.
The other four clearly state that certain unwanted behaviours will be tolerated to a degree.

@RarelyCharlie Agree with all of that.
The made up rules has been one that I find to be problematic.Sometimes it is just something a random user has made up, sometimes it's actually a rule that has been adopted as a guideline, without it being stated to everyone.
And for zero tolerance, as far as I can tell, when it comes to flirting, that gets 1 behaviour point (although that's from something labelled as 2020, does it still apply in 2021)?

My questions haven't gone answered here. Laying them out, numbered.
1. What is the Zero Tolerance Policy? Please to answer this, directly state the Zero Tolerance Policy. I don't want to be directed to a thread that has a lot of information in the opening post, I want the policy itself to be posted
