In need of some support and advice
I'm just so tired of tying my self-worth to my achievements, i constantly feel like i'm not doing enough and that i could've done better even though i tried my best already, but i feel like my best isn't good enough. I feel like i'm too ambitious and even though i'm doing well in school, it's ruining my mental health and it's making me feel burned out often and I just want to stop focusing too much on my weaknesses, but i don't know how. I've been struggling with toxic productivity for years and i still haven't really found a way to overcome it, so if you do have some advice, please do let me know. And if you have some similar experiences too, i'd be happy to hear your story.
I feel so alone sometimes too honestly, i just need someone who will cheer me up and maybe even give me a virtual hug. I've been dealing with quite a lot of anxiety as well and it's so exhausting, although i'm trying my best to push through all this

It is hard especially now i feel a;ways trying to be on top of it all... It is ok to be ok with your best and not compare to perfect. Nothing is perfect.
In the end the people who will mean the most to you in your life are NOT keeping score .... life is a journey and when we are always trying to be busy and productive we miss many things along the way.
You are fine as you are..

I wonder if you have ever heard about the following text. It often gives me a compass and brings a comfort to me. It is a poem known as "Desiderata", originally published by Max Ehrmann in 1927 (and it's public domain now):
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexatious to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love,
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem with me. I've never heard it before actually and i'll try my best to strive to be happy instead of being the best

@Tinywhisper11
Thank you for supporting me. *gives you a hug back 🫂💙* i really like your positive energy and i see you a lot on this site, cheering other people up. Please keep it up! Your words have the power to help people. Could i ask you something though, what does a giant tiny hug mean? I've heard you say that a lot, but i never really understood what it meant
@pinkKite8784
Actually, I've always had some thoughts about it, and I wonder if any of my explanations were right:
First, the person you are referring to is @Tinywhisper11 - so all she does can be "tiny" - it's lake a trademark 😊 (don't ask me why "11", but in some countries it's a lucky number).
Second, a "giant (but) tiny hug" may mean the hug is straight from the heart, warm, free, safe, and not made to feel you obliged to anything.
Third, I think it might be just Tiny expressing herself in her own emotional and unique way ❤️
@jacek73 💖💖 I like your explanations better than mine💖💖😁💖💖
