Body dysmorphia

So... I think i have a body dysmorphia and i don't know how to get rid of it and how to support myself... I will talk to my therapist about it, but still...

I always thought that I'm fat when others where saying that I'm not and that i have a healthy body... But i always was so surprised about it, like... How can they say that when I'm fat? Literally? But now, when i look at photos when i thought i was fat, i see a normal healthy body, always... And now i think that I'm fat... I look at the mirror and i see that i have big stomach, double chin and big thighs... But at the same time, i don't care about it, like, "ok, that's fine, i can just do sports" but still o feel disgusting... And I do know what to do about it... I feel anxious talking about it and i feel scared that something will go wrong... So... I don't know... I'm scared that i might be insecure even more about my body image if i will talk about it... So, I dont know... I'm scared...

I'm really sorry you're going through this. It sounds like this has been weighing on you for a long time. I'm glad you're planning to bring it up with your therapist it takes courage to talk about something so personal. You don't have to face it alone, and I hope you're able to be gentle with yourself while you work through these feelings. Wishing you strength and healing. 💚
