Can't accept General Requests fast enough
Hi, I have a suggestion for the way general requests are accepted. I click on the general request button as fast as I can and the member's name shows for a second and then someone has already taken it and the request is gone. I don't understand how people get to them so fast, I have to literally stare at my screen to try to get any messages. Is there a better way to organize how we respond to messages? It's not really fair to the people who never get to listen to any members. Maybe setting a limit on how many active conversations a listener can have at a time or how many times in x amount of minutes a listener can accept a message. Thanks
A limit on live conversation has been set recently, it's 3 at max at a time. However, it's not enforced in any way, so it's up to everyone to adhere to that rule. I know what you mean about the general requests going too quickly, it can be really frustrating. However, I've seen general requests pilingup with no one taking them, so I guess it also depends on the time of the day.
Hi, I am new to 7 Cups, but whilst I was taking a personal request last night, I noticed the general requests were up to x3 at some points. I agree, I think it has something to do with the time of day? I was late around 10.45pm (GMT) - possibly people not being able to sleep or coming home alone after going out and wanting to talk?

I need some advice. Sometimes, once I accept a general request, during conversation, I receive a personal request. And I feel multiple conversation means diverting focus. How do I manage such a situation?

Hey CP. You can set your status to "busy" that means you are busy so you are not obligated to respond to the personal request or you can accept it and let the person know you are now busy so if you two can schedule some other time if they can't talk to another listener. These are few suggestions for you.
I've been a listener of 7 cups for quite some time now and I'm wondering the personal request box is, and what the general request box is?

@Vanj16 I don't think you can do it with your current account, I think you have to do it with a listener account.
How can I see my personal requests? They've veen popping up, but i can't find where they are. Thank you
